Red Dog Run II
April 10, 2004

Write-up by Bryan (Box Turtle)

Where: Meet at the McDonald’s on Sierra College Blvd n/o I-80 (Rocklin) at 9:00 am. El Dorado Hills locals can meet at Round Table Pizza at 8:30 am to head over together.

This will be a fun day of target shooting and wheeling at Red Dog, which is a nice spot on a little creek between Colfax and Grass Valley off Hwy 174. Those who want to shoot can shoot! Those that want to wheel can wheel and explore! Or do both! Pack a lunch and bring any firearms/Bows. We’ll set up targets so bring some cans, balloons, etc… Bring whatever (legal) firearms you want to test. Don’t forget ear & eye protection if you plan on shooting. Safety will be a top priority and alcohol & guns just don’t mix, so please – no alcohol drinking before or during shooting. Bryan will act as Range Master and advise everyone of any do’s and don’ts beforehand. Rain or shine!!! Bryan will bring an awning, don’t forget chairs, cameras, etc… Bring some extra trash bags for clean-up. Wheeling is whatever you want – easy to hard – suitable for all 4x4’s. Open to all members and prospects. Sorry, this run is for members and prospects only (due to firearms/safety issues.) Inquire if you’re unsure of your club status.
